Winsor Pilates Review

Winsor Pilates is a relatively new type of Pilates exercise that has really caught on in the United States and Canada. Why is this? What makes this form of the 90-year-old Pilates method so great? Well, there are two major reasons for the sudden burst in popularity of the new Winsor Pilates fitness and weight loss program:winsor pilates

  1. It’s marketed very heavily (mostly on television)
  2. It’s pretty darn effective

Yes, Winsor Pilates started off as a “fitness infomercial” product. You can see ads for it on TV just about any night of the week. You’ll see Mari Winsor (the creator) and Daisy Fuentes (a famous model) talking about how great this at-home pilates workout is. They talk about its fantastic muscle toning and “body sculpting” effects as well as the huge amount of weight you can lose by following the Winsor Pilates system. As with all infomercials, the “hype” is laid on pretty heavily...

But, for once, this hype may actually have a basis in fact.

Winsor Pilates has been shown to be an effective way to tone the abs, butt, and thighs. It can help you lose weight and slim down. And, as with most good exercise programs, you'll probably have more energy, less stress, and increased muscle strength if you do it regularly.

Simply put, the Winsor Pilates program has proven to be very, very good. As you can see on the Winsor Pilates web site many users lose 20 or more pounds and several dress sizes in a relatively short amount of time. And, unlike with most fast weight loss programs, their bodies actually “tighten” up. The full-body workouts tone, strengthen, and stretch just about all the muscles in the body while helping you burn fat at the same time.

Before Winsor Pilates, pilates method exercise had never been considered a really effective way to lose weight. It was geared more towards strengthening and balancing the body, which is why it was mostly used only by dancers and athletes (who, of course, are already very lean). Mari Winsor has taken traditional pilates and made it much more “cardiovascular”. She uses a system she calls “dynamic sequencing” in which you perform true pilates movements at a faster pace than normal.

The end result is a low-intensity full-body workout that burns quite a lot of calories.

As with all weight loss and fitness programs, the true test is customer satisfaction. In other words, how happy is the average customer with his or her results? In the case of Winsor Pilates, the answer seems to be very happy. We’ve researched several online discussion boards and have yet to see a highly negative comment about the Winsor Pilates system. The most common complaint seems to be that the workout is harder than expected.

Make no mistake about it – you will work hard with the Winsor Pilates program! It’s definitely not an easy, “quick fix”. But it will burn a ton of fat and help you get a better body very quickly and safely. If you’re looking for an effective at-home workout, you should definitely give this one a try.
